Wilson’s disease - A case report

Abstract


Wilson’s disease is a rare autosomal-recessive disorder with a prevalence of one per 30,000. A 24- year- old man was brought to general outpatient department (OPD), National Institute of Unani medicine (NIUM), Bangalore in 2015 with the history of difficulty in speaking, drooling of saliva and tremor in both hands since 3 months. On the basis of signs, symptoms and laboratory investigations including magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of brain the case was diagnosed as Wilson’s disease.
