Comparative Study Ethicon Metallic Stapler versus Ethilon Suture
Abstract
Surgical site infection is common in post-operative patients. Some of the complications are redness and pain at the site of closure, Fever, wound necrosis, collection, wound dehiscence, Scar, and blister formation. Skin closure by metallic staplers is quick method of skin approximation. It reduces closure time by half in comparison to Ethilon suture. The scar of staplers is comparatively better than suture.
