Peripheral Blood Flow: A New Indicator for Measuring the Analgesic Effect of Dolowhite Emulsion

Abstract


The pain relieving effect of a proprietary Siddha drug Dolowhite emulsion was studied by using the haemodynamic profile of the cutaneous region using Mexameter. Dolowhite is composed of the Siddha herbs such as Clerodendrum phlomides, Aloe vera, and Cinnamomum camphora. The pain relieving effect of Dolowhite emulsion was studied by using the haemodynamic profile of the cutaneous region using Mexameter. The findings are discussed in the article. The above findings validate the science behind patronage of non-MBBS doctors of Dolowhite emulsion. The study also scientifically proves the greatness of Siddha system of medicine and its usefulness to the global community that suffer from wide spectrum of pain of multiple origins.
