Abstract

Avarana is one of the unique concepts of Ayurveda which needs to be explored and expanded so as to bring forth the practical solution for some of the intricate diseases of today’s world and to develop the new horizon of Ayurvedic medicine. Unfortunately, with the passage of time, due to lack of proper insight and research, the basic concept of Ayurveda has remained unexplored. A race to modify Ayurveda and change it according to the contemporary science causes it to lose its basic fundamentals.
