Obesity is the most troublesome curse for a human society not only due to deteriorated sense of personality but also because it leads to severe complications like diabetes, hypertension, cardio vascular disease and a long list of other diseases. Obesity is not only a problem in developed countries but in developing countries too. India is also becoming a victim of this serious disease. This present article throws light on its causes, pathology and its management through ayurvedic and yogic means so that one can combat with it and its hazardous side effects.
