Boolean Model to Analyze the Heat Shock Protein70 Production with the Activation of Heat Shock Factor-1 under Heat Stress
Abstract
Exposure of human cells to heat stress triggers several signaling pathways. It was accepted that changes in gene expression are an integral part of the cellular responses to thermal stress stimulate the synthesis of the heat shock proteins upto a threshold. The present work aims to model the signaling pathway for heat shock factor-1regulation and heat shock proteins synthesis under mild heat stress condition. The electronic model was simulated using Multisim 8.0 (National Instruments, USA) to develop the mechanistic Boolean logic. The model operates on two states; logic ‘1' and logic ‘0'. The results were obtained through the perturbations analysis, and the findings are validated through published experimental findings. Thus, the present model predicts the biomolecules crucial to biochemical pathways and thereby suggests the possible drug targets for therapeutics action.
