Synthesis, Characterization of Novel 5-(Dimethylamino) Naphthalene Sulfonamide Derivatives
Abstract
5-(Dimethylamino) naphthalene-1-sulphonic acid was synthesized by methylation of 5-amino naphthalene-1-sulphonic acid. 5-(Dimethylamino) naphthalene-1-sulphonyl chloride were synthesized by the chlorination of 5-amino naphthalene-1-sulphonic acid. 5-(Dimethylamino) naphthalene-1-sulfonamide derivatives were synthesized by condensation of
5-(Dimethylamino) naphthalene-1-sulphonyl chloride and corresponding primary amines. There chemical structures were confirmed by I. R., 1HNMR and elemental analysis.
